Description

San Callisto, San Sebastiano, Santi Marcellino and Pietro, Priscilla, Sant'Agnese and Domitilla are the Catacombs that were born between the end of the 2nd and the beginning of the 3rd century AD, used for the burial and funeral commemoration of the members of the Christian community. Richly decorated, they housed the tombs of the martyrs who during the Middle Ages attracted the devotion of numerous pilgrims.
